Writable Profiles and Skype 2016

I have a Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB pool.  Everything is working great.  When I add users to the UIA plus Profile security group which provides them with a writable profile the Skype Address Book search stops working.  No error messages or anything.  When I take the writable away it searches the address book fine.  Any help would be much appreciated.  I looked through the snapvol.cfg file and don't see anything that I should change regarding Skype or Office.

Please add the below exclusions in writable volumes snapvol.cfg and check if it helps.

exclude_process_name=OfficeClicktoRun.exe

exclude_process_name=SearchFilterHost.exe

exclude_process_name=SearchProtocolHost.exe

exclude_process_name=SearchIndexer.exe

exclude_path=Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root

exclude_path=Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office 16\root

exclude_registry=\REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office

Quick question. Are you able to search in Outlook when using writable volumes? What is the AV version?

Thank you for your response.  Yes, I am able to search within Outlook.  We are using App Vol 2.12.1.

That worked!  Thanks a lot!  I was losing my mind.

I had to remove this exclusion though because Skype would no longer launch with it

exclude_process_name=OfficeClicktoRun.exe
