Windows 10 (1607) With AppStack hangs at login

Logging in to Windows 10 v1607 with an AppStack attached the login process hangs at Preparing Windows screen frozen for 10-15 seconds.  May not seem like a lot but it is a noticeable difference.  Has anyone had any problems with this before? I have windows fully updated and AppStack 2.12

Same issue here.  It only happens here when the user logs in for the first time.  After that, logins are fine.

If you are having the issue every time, please provide more info on how you are set up.  One or more AppVol managers?  Is SSL enabled or are you using all non-SSL?  etc.

Hello

I am having the same issue with AppStack it hangs at log in and makes Windows 10 very very slow to start

I'm talking 3 to 5 extra minutes if you are using a bunch of apps?

does anyone have a fix or solution for this

I opened a ticket with VMWare.  They are looking into this problem now.  Will Update if I get any results

If you could let others know I can open a ticket as well

Right now I want to make sure we have our certs and everything is working before I open an issue.

If you do see a 3 minute delay you should see this in the svservice.log file. Could you check and see if you see something abnormal inthere?

We are also testing W10 and logon is clearly slower than with W7 but we also see this on physical machines.

Our logontimes with writable and 1 or 2 appstacks is in the 40 to 50 seconds range without any performance customization.

I also put in a ticket with VMware it's been 3 days and nothing yet.

I hope it's something simple I have been sending logs and information with my current tech but nothing as of yet
