Using svservice.exe to assign/unassign in script

Hello I need (for demo purposes) grant users the ability to assign/unassigned stacks straight from the desktops.    Unfortunately the svservice.exe -attach command doesn't seem to work in version 2.9.

Also there's little to no info on svservice.exe which is quite frustrating.

Yes but that type of self service is not really the intention of App Volumes. It will be handled with other tools in the future.

and you can always use our demo portal too Smiley Happy

Attaching from the end point is not supported. Using the commands that are shown by running "svservice /?" are not supported.

That out of the way, do you have more than one Manager/vCenter, what is the default storage set to and is the Appstack in question in that location, spaces in the Appstack name or non ASCII characters?

I guess my only follow up is the possible use case of providing stacks as a service..  thru VRA or similar.
