I have a single App Volumes Manager in use today with AppStacks configured and working. When I have redundant App Volumes Managers and load balancer configured, how do I re-point the App Volumes Agents to the load-balanced IP or FQDN?
I'm thinking the following would work.
1. In the master image, uninstall App Volumes Agent
2. Re-install the App Volumes Agent and point it to new, load-balanced IP address / FQDN
3. Push the new Instant Clone image out
Thanks!
Yes, tat option does work and will do the trick.
We found out that you could also just change the 2 registry keys in which the Appvolumes manager is being set.
First one is HKML\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\svservice\Parameters\Manager1
Second one HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CloudVolumes\Agent\Manager_Address
Do make sure to restart the GI after changing this setting. It will automatically point to the correct manager.
