When end users try to edit a project from Project Online it opens the Project 2016 install (app stack or ref image) and displays "You need to have Project 2016 installed"
I am entertaining installing Project 2016 to the ref image with Office, and controlling access to the application via GPO. The edit problem goes away but still facing initial you don't have Project installed, until I open Project once (notice that the program changes from standard to professional) after I sign into it.
I have tried:
- Installing Project 2016 to ref image
- Running repair of all Office products on ref image.
- Clearing KMS cache
- Clearing KMS server
- OSPPREARM
