Profile template in 2.10

it seems that the profile template was discontinued in 2.10. At least when i deploy the new templates, the Profile Template isn't updated. So I have to choose between UIA + Templates or just UIA.

That means the if you are continuing to use just the Profile template, you are still using the 2.9 version

Couldn't it be that you still need to add the VolDelayLoadTime=0 value into it?

Jason posted on the forums that the writable volume wouldn't go anyhwre assuming that profiles would still be inthere for now and would be inthere for at least all 2.x versions.

There hasn't been any word of it being discontinued yet.

Also, if you reinstall the agent, you need to first uninstall the Agent also removing all parameters that you set during install of the "older" agent.

hmmkay.. It would be nice to have a heads up before that but my guess is that the profile only will be replaced by EUM.

We still have UIA+Templates. If an user doesn't have admin rights it's just the same as profile only I guess. The problem with EUM is that you have to DEFINE every application but its a great tool for managing many aspects of a VDI machine.
