Open Office disappears after capture and reboot using App Volumes 2.9

I run through the App Volumes process to create an appstack install Apache Open Office 4.1 for Windows and complete the capture. Everything works with the Open Office application, however, after the reboot, the application is gone, nothing in the program files, no traces at all. Almost like a snapshot was reverted. Tried several times, but same output. Have had many Windows application work.

Any ideas are appreciated.

During provisioning an AppStack, App Volumes creates a new disk (VMDK) and attaches the same to the machine. All the application files, registry keys etc are directly saved in the AppStack.

Once you reboot after installing the application, the AppStack disk will be detached from the machine. Thats why you do not see the application in Program files.

You may go ahead and assign the AppStack that was created to users to see the application.
