MS Office Activation

Hi,

Does MS office need to be activated at the provisioning computer or when it is attached at the client?

During provisioning the AppStack, you need to set KMS server and activate the product through command line.

cscript ospp.vbs /sethst:kmsserver.domain.com

cscript ospp.vbs /act

When assigning the Office AppStack to users, it should get activated during first launch for every user (irrespective of being activated during provisioning).
