Is it possible to package just a directory and a desktop icon?

Hello-

I have a couple of users in my environment who need access to a "portable" application that is just all held within a single directory.  I would like to be able to deliver this application via AppVolumes (2111) like we do all of our installable applications, but this one doesn't install.  Is there a mechanism where i can create an Application in AppVolumes and just package up that directory and the corresponding desktop icon somehow and assign it like any other AppStack?

AppVolumes does not monitor the installer of an application. It monitors the changes of the system, C: drive and Registry.

Start a nd package in the AVM and mount the package to your capturing VM. Then copy all necessary files, registry, and shortcuts to the required locations for the application to launch successfully. Launch the applications to make sure it is working as expected.

Complete the AVM packaging and test mount on you capturing VM or a test pool to verify the application was package successfully.
