I can't seem to find an ADMX template that works. I'm using UEM and App Volumes. Office 365 will be deployed as an App Stack and we are using Writable Volumes UIA+Profiles.
Writables store all and every information you throw at it but it filters out all info that is stored in the snapvol.cfg file.
I have no idea where Microsoft stores the information from OneDrive. Isn't this simply stored within the profile?
You could check to see where the information is stored by Microsoft and then check the snapvol.cfg file on the writable to see if this folder is excluded. If not it will simply work.
Just tested out Writable volume UIA+Profile with Non-Persistent Windows 10 Pool.
ADMX & ADML would be in installed OneDrive Sync Client location.
Office 2016 & Onedrive working after doing few modifications.
For OneDrive you may create a folder in c:\CreatedFolder and change NTFS permissions.
Open group policy and change OneDrive default sync location to c:\"CreatedFolder"
Writable volume will capture C:\CreatedFolder upon user sync.
Excluding Writable Volume OneDrive Sync Path
SnapVol.cfg exclusion can be applied to C:\CreatedFolder if you don't want writable volume to capture user synced folder.
Example
exclude_path=\CreatedFolder
I will be able to post step by step on how to modify snapvol.cfg if required
Thanks,
Mani
