File is not in a folder shared with the host and cannot be opened by the host

Hi,

Having an issue with the SAP GUI app stack.

When opening the application through the SAP portal (Internet explorer) , we get the following error.

The file c:\users\username\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\inetcache\ie\O30MUMOM\tx.sap is not in a folder shared with the host and cannot be opened by the host.

We also use writeable volumes for data & profile assigned to the username.

The app stack is also assigned to the username.

Any idea?

Erik

In the SAP GUI you must set the installer options to not install any information into the users profile (c:\users\) if you do not the GUI will not be recorded properly in the AppStack and will fail as you are seeing.
