DEM Managment Console in appvolumes

Has anyone captured the DEM Management Console in later appstacks, I've been running 2.13.2 with 2.10 appstacks for while now, and I've always has the management tool work in that setup. I notices if I did a 2.13.2 appstack template, I'm seeing the same thing I'm seeing in 2.18. It wants to do a repair install on logon, in 2.13.2 it would finsih, but in 2.18 its failing

What I did is I installed the console like normal and then copied the install folder to a network share. Probably not at all supported.

Could be that the snapvol.cfg in the new templates has changed and it no longer captures these files or folders?

Looking at the snapvol.cfg

You could try commenting out these two:

exclude_path=\Program Files\Immidio

exclude_registry=\REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Immidio

Do keep in mind that if you do that it might break your normal DEM setup. It might not be able to save your user settings.

I would recoomend changing the install location of the Management console to something like C:\Immidio. That is what we have been doing since we started using UEM/DEM.
