Running Windows XP on iMac running Big Sur using WMware 12.2.1 On starting Windows the following is displayed "Cannot connect to the virtual device ide 1:0 because no corresponding device is available on the host." Virtual Device ide 1:0 will start disconnected.
The Windows XP starts and runs fine but requires acceptance of this disconnection. Can anyone explain?
