Attach multiple stacks to a desktop and user

I'm currently testing App Volumes 2.9 and Horizon 6.2, and I have a stack with all the default applications that our users would get (java, flash, Adobe Reader, Chrome, etc). I was having some issues with Chrome crashing when I attached it via the user, so I decided to attach it to the OU the desktops were in and everything has been running great since. However, now if I attach another specific app stack to the user, it never gets attached. I have tried rebooting, recomposing, etc. But, if I attach it to the computer it works. Once I attach an app stack to a computer do I lose the ability to attach another to the user? If so, I feel like I would be going back towards a Thinapp-type deployment which I wanted to get away from. Any insight would be appreciated...thanks!

Hi,

It's not possible to attach appstacks to user objects and computer objects.

Maybe in the next release, i hope.

That's unfortunate. I guess I will need to look into why Chrome wasn't working properly when attached as a user stack. Is 2.10 scheduled to be released soon? I heard it was supposed to, and 3.0 later this year. Thanks!
