Hi,

I have a question about assignments. We are using Appvolumes 4.

E.G. We have an application Google Chrome, the AD group "Google Chrome" has an assignment for it. V1 is the current package. We make a new V2 package and we want to test it with a specific user, function test, before we make the V2 the current version. But the functional test user is also part of the "Google Chrome" AD group. We don't want to remove the user from this group, because sometimes we use this group als for other user rights (e.g. a file share). 

What's the best solution so that a specific package (in our example V2) is attached to a user?

You can simply add that user with a package assignment to the V2 version even if it has the V1 version also assigned due to group membership.

You will see that the package assignment always wins from the marker assignment. This is a very neat featuire of the Appvolumes 4.x version.
