Appvolumes Slow Login, Writeable not working

Help!

We're using App Volumes 2.12 on a WIndows 7x64. Writeable slows down logon for three minutes and then doesn't work correctly. Writeable shows up in My Computer as E: CVWriteable.

We are only using Writeable. No other Appstacks.

Can see extra 10 gbs in edit settings in VSphere Client.

Tried Regkey- VolsWaitTimeout -Dword 2. THe reg key fixed Logon time. However Still having issues with writeable not working.

Removed McAfee completely. Still no luck

Checked Local Policies for Removable Media settings. Couldn't find anything blocking.

Any help is much appreciated.

Here's Some of my SVService Log.

What template are you using? And did you try recreating the writable?

Also, the user you are logging in with, does this account already have a profile on the machine?

And last but not least. Are you using preference mode policies? What happens if you try to disable all policies on the OU the VDI resides in?

‌Hi,

Out of interest, are you using any profile management tools? UEM or Persona?

thanks

Thank you so much for your help. It was a GPO. We haven't narrowed it down yet but, I'll let yall know when I do.

Thanks!

Not yet. We're going to try UEM now that we've resolved our writeable issue.

Just as a small reference. If you are going to use UEM it will add about 2 to 3 seconds on your logon because it needs to download the zip file the settings are stored in.

@Andrew. I do know about some issues with AppSense and Appvolumes biting eachother when logging in because they both use a filter driver and both want to get all resources.

It seems that if you exclude enough information it should work.
