Apps assigned to target OU, new/recomposed linked clones fail domain join?

View 6.1, vSphere 5.5, Windows 7 x32.

Same issue exists with App Volumes 2.6 and 2.7. App Stacks are set to attached at next login or reboot.

If I am provisioning or recomposing desktops I must remove the App Volumes assignment to the OU or else the View agent Composer service errors out joining the machines to the domain. Everything works fine if I remove the assignments before performing these actions.

I've looked through the docs and done the usual searches and haven't turned up any ideas.

Hi, We had the same issue.  VMware Support told us to assign AppStacks to users and groups rather than machines....  We were disappointed to hear this.

I have 15+ floating pools that I want to use App Volumes on and would rather attach the AppStacks to the machines to avoid the user logon delay that happens when AppStacks are assigned to users and groups.

Let us know if you come across a way around this.
