AppVolumes 2.5 - Limiting size of Writeables through policy

Is it possible to limit the size of writable volumes through the AppVolumes Manager? Is there maybe a way to create your own template VMDK's with a limited size. It seems like the 10GB VMDK's that are prepackaged with the system are thin provisioned, so I'm trying to limit the size of user profile/user installed applicaitons to prevent filling the datastore.

The templates are just a simple VMDK and they can be modified and changed. Attached is a dated doc but should help you through the process.
