AppVolumes 2.16 install issues

Good morning everyone,

We are trying to install App Volumes Manager 2.16 however when we get to the part about the SQL Server database setup(we initially tried to setup a database on our SQL Server 2014 machine to point back to the App Volumes install) it wouldn't connect to the connection we tried to create. So then if I go into the ODBC connection and try to manually setup an AppVolumes database(which it sees from the SQL Server 2014 database setup) it connects when I put in our username/password but it won't see it when we try to install App Volumes manager. Can someone please point us in the right direction.

Thanks,

Dre

Are you running the installer from the \Installation\Manager folder or by launching the setup.exe from \Installation?

I ran into an issue during a 2.14->2.16 upgrade where it would not connect to our SQL database via the already-established ODBC connection when I ran the "App Volumes Manager.msi".  However, it worked correctly when launching from the setup.exe.

Just a few things maybe worth checking. I haven't had this issue myself.

Are you using ODBC 64 bits?

Have you followed the steps listed in this doc?

This thread mentions a similar issue and requires to enable TLS1.0 ...
