App Volumes Agent error code 500... Unable to contact App Volumes Manager

Hi,

I have made a lab with Horizon View Enterprise 6.

My App Volume Manager and my W7 client are in the same network (vlan, subnet, ...)

From the client :

- ping to app volume manager is OK

- port 80 and 443 are open (i join the application manager from the client)

- in app volume manager, I see in the activity log the action 'Computer Startup' and 'User Login' from this client

But, after the session opening, I obtain the message :

Connection Error (Manager vdi-appvol.xxxxxxxxxxxx error code 500):

Unable to contact App Volume Manager

Virtualization is disabled

Any idee ?

Effectively, after reading this topic Error 500, it's the same problem.

Error appears when assigning to a group and not when assigning to a user.

hope that the problem will be quickly corrected by VmWare Smiley Wink

You can safely ignore the message on a packaging machine as it seems. Just look at the other topic. VMWare gave a solution fo it, you need to edit a few reg keys.

But for as long a I only see it at my packaging machine and all works well I don't care. If you wanne get rid of the message just change the registry as is posted in the other error 500 topic.
