I start with a perfectly functioning AppVol 2.11 Manager on a Win 2012 R2 Server
I uninstall AV 2.11 Manager (keeping the database) and Reboot. (no warnings)
Install AV 2.12 Manager, choosing to Connect to an existing Local SQL Database ((local)\SQLEXPRESS) using Integrated Authentication and picking the proper Database name form the Browse List and NOT choosing to overwrite. I also permit insecure connections on port 8080 just to avoid certificate issues there for now. Install completes successfully as best as I can tel (no install warnings and services (App Volumes Manager, App Volumes PowerShell Remoting) start up fine).
I Launch App Volume Manager and message "42000 (4060) [Microsoft][ODBC Server Driver] Cannot open database "AppVol2" requested by login. The login Failed" appears.
The SQL DB permission have not changed from the 2.11 install and can be browsed in SQL Management studio (SQL Server 2012) just fine
I am aware of KB: Launching App Volumes Manager fails with the error: Cannot open database "AppVolumes_DB" requested b...
Any suggestions on where to tweak the login information in AV or modify SQL DB properties would be appreciated. I admit that I am not an SQL guru.
