The cost of VCA exam is 120$ and you get discount of 50% if the exam is taken in 2013

The last time i checked VCA was 95$ when i tried booking it through PerasonVUE

Yes just confirmed it. Its 95. But its being offered at 47.50$ and it says 47.50$ is cut off to encourage people to take up the exam.

The normal Price for me showed 95€ ( not dollar ) + VAT.

For me it said 95$ and as you book it online with PearsonVUE VAT does not apply. Or maybe it does. Never checked out

I believe you, it's common practice to just change the $ to € and don't apply the actual conversion rate. Poor us Europeans

I checked out and 19% german VAT applied at the end. It was 9.02€ VAT for the 50% discounted price.

It also is an automatic discount so there is no promo involved. I registered today and plan on taking it tonight.

Congrats nerdblurt, saw you passed. Just for clarification, the price is USD 47.50 (normal price is USD 90.00) until the end of 2013. No VAT comes with the price, as you take this online.

VMware recently launched a promotion to introduce the new VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification, which provided an additional 50% discount for those registering with the promo code in addition to the existing 50% discount to encourage people to take VCA. This offer makes it free till October 15.

How do I get the exam for free? I registered with VMware yesterday (Oct 8th) for the VCA-DCV exam and also registered with Pearson VUE. After clicking on my exam link it show a $120 fee. After scheduling the exam a 50% discount appears, but i need a promo code or something to make it $0.00.
