shadow-root (closed) element in remote plugin UI in vsphere client for vCenter 6.7 update 1

Hi All,

I am trying to automate UI testing for a remote plugin on a 6.7 update 1/3 vCenters. The remote plugin loads inside a shadow-root (closed) element. I was able to get the shadow-root element (open) in vCenter 7.0 by using the developer mode as given in below post. Screenshot is also available on the same post.

But, I'm not able to use the same solution for 6.7 update 1 and 3. The shadow-root element remains closed.

Is there some other query parameter or setting to do this in 6.7 update 1/3 ?

Hi Brian,

This capability is not supported on 6.7 vCenter Servers, you can use vCenter Server 7.0+ for the UI automation.

When this was developed all 6.7 updates were already released so this can't be backported to 6.7 release line.
