Hi,

I'm atttempting to write a Perl script to collect hardware inventory and status of the following items on each host: -

Disks

Logical volumes

Fans

Power supplies

Temperature sensors

I have been able to find most of the information from the host view under configManager->healthStatusSystem->runtime but the data presented there is incomplete. Specifically I am missing: -

* Upper thresholds on temperature sensors.

* An easy to way to identify installed power supplies only.

If I use the WSMan module and speak to the hosts directly then all the information is available, but I am really trying to avoid speaking direct to the hosts for various reasons.
