Hi Team,

Please help here.

When i have play linux virtual machine then we have faced the below mention error.

Error while powering on: Virtualized performance counters require at least one available functioning counter.

Module 'VPMC' power on failed.

Failed to start the virtual machine.

please check and confirm the resolution.

First you need to state which VMware product you are using to try and “play” the VM.

You should also mention the host OS, whether this has happened before, if it happens to other VMs or just the one you mention, and anything else you have tried to troubleshoot.

change the CPU configuration of your VM as below:

Edit setting > expand cpu options > Virtualized cpu performance counter
