I need sound in my VM but /dev/dsp is deprecated.

Fedora has not supported /dev/dsp for a while now by default and it would appear the workarounds are deprecated as well.

I can't select a different sound device in vmware and creating a symlink for /dev/dsp to the audio device does not seem to work.

Anyone know how to get audio on Fedora ?
