I would like to setup an environment (for testing, not for production purposes) for Oracle RAC (10.2) using e.g. two SUSE Linux 10.2 instances (could also use 2x W2K or WXP). I need:

a network interface between the two nodes/VMs

a shared disk accessible from both nodes

Can this be done? Access to a common, shaed disk seems to be impossible because of locking the disk from the first instance started.

Any help welcome!

Erwin Heute
