Ok so, I have a macOS 11 VM (this is possible, just needs some extra config). I wanted to run macOS 14 on it, but the install assistant was gonna take way too long to download. I decided to just run a vm on the VM, as there is macOS VM software (I was gonna use UTM.) UTM requires a IPSW file, it would take way too long to download. I downloaded it on my host, and I could not get it in the VM.

By the way, the host is my Windows 11 22H2 computer.

It is a violation of Apple's licensing to run their OS on non-Apple hardware. Therefore, nobody here can help you, or VMware could get into legal trouble.

Also, note that the only way to get macOS to run under Workstation is to hack it - so you've come to a vendor's support forum admitting that you modified their software and are asking for help with it!
