Upgrade from Workstation 15 Pro to 17 Pro (on Windows 10 Workstation host)?

BACKGROUND: I have WS Pro 15 (on a Windows 10 Workstation host). The hardware and software requirements are met for WS Pro 17. I purchased the upgrade license and downloaded the software from VMWare.

QUESTION: How do I upgrade my existing WS Pro 15?

Have you checked the Workstation documentation?

There’s a section on upgrading Workstation in the instructions on installation.
