Windows host 16.2.3 Ubuntu 22.04 guest issues

Ubuntu 22.04 guest using bridged network. Noticeable boot delay. Firefox and snap issues. Most issues seems to be specific to 22.04. The question is does anyone do anything special for an 22.04 guest? UEFI a given? Use or not use TPM? NVME ok?

only if there is no way around it - I avoid NVME as they dont seem to be as stable as scsi-vmdks.

Windows 10 host here, Ubuntu 22.04 guest. No issues - but I've stuck with Workstation 16.1.2, as I have encountered numerous issues with the 16.2.x line so far. SCSI virtual disk also.
