Create a Windows 10 image

Hi,

Whenever I attempt to create a new VM from an ISO "Windows 10" file, I'm stuck at the setup step where I'm asked to help going over the step I don't understand. Can anybody help me?

Your thread needs to be in the area for Workstation Pro, a moderator should move it there now I have reported it.

Can you confirm that you've attached a bootable Windows 10 image to the VM's virtual CD-ROM drive, and that it is configured to be connected at power on?

The bootscreen suggests that your ISO is not bootable.
Just curious - why do you use NVME disks ? - do you think they are faster than SCSI ?

Okay, the end of this story thanks to Vijay from VMWare Tech Support - FYI:

1) I am using Windows 11 as a host which is not yet fully supported. As a result, creating a VM requires some quick press on the space bar as soon as the image loads. Apparently, VMWare will support Windows pretty soon.

2) I better use the Microsoft Media Tool to generate my Windows 10 ISO file (https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10#d2784474-fdb0-4e9d-9e47-5e88c0e053ec). Alternatives found on the web may generate a "weird" behaviour to avoid.
