Workstation Pro has stopped support of 32-bit Windows as a host OS since version 11.

The Workstation UI (vmware.exe) is still 32-bit though but the process (vmware-vmx.exe) that actually runs VMs is 64-bit.

There are lots of other VMware-related processes. The packaging/destination folder does not follow the standard that Program Files (x86) contains only 32-bit executables. You can see whether the process is 64-bit or 32-bit from Task Manager Details tab with the Architecture column (x64 or x86).
