VMRUN start command is not working in gitlab

vmrun start command is not working from gitlab. it gives "Error: There was an error in communication" message. All other commands (including Guest Operating System Commands) are working except start command.

Below are the commands I tried and I used gitlab-runner service which runs on my windows account credentials.

vmrun start "valid vmx path"

vmrun start "valid vmx path" nogui

Please provide suggestions

Hi,

I get the same issue with saltstack.

salt Pro15machine cmd.run 'vmrun stop path to .vmx' -> works fine

salt Pro15machine cmd.run 'vmrun start path to .vmx' -> does not work
