    <description>&lt;P&gt;You can just copy the missing file and then power on the VM.&amp;nbsp; It *may* have some files missing if that slice was written to in the meantime.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, before doing that, you can search for the file in an AV Quarantine or similar, in case it got flagged by anti-virus.&amp;nbsp; And it's best practice to exclude any VM folders from AV scan (and also OneDrive sync).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Good morning, from one day to the next I have not been able to open my virtual machine (using &lt;STRONG&gt;VMWare Player 17.0.1&lt;/STRONG&gt;).&lt;BR /&gt;I checked the files inside the virtual machine folder and there don't seem to be any missing items, however if I try to check the Hard Disk configuration and I receive a message about the file specified in the path is not found.&lt;BR /&gt;I am attaching the screenshots of the error and the generated log file.&lt;BR /&gt;I also checked the BIOS to check the virtualization options enabled.&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you and have a good day&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That's not the log needed.&amp;nbsp; Please attach a full file listing of the VM's folder including dates and sizes, and also the vmware.log file.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I copied the file and I restarted the VM.&lt;BR /&gt;As you told I have some error on applications that was maybe opened and I have to reinstall them, but it seems it's working.&lt;BR /&gt;Thank you very much.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
