Use a physical disk(for advanced user) is grayed out

I have an external nvme drive (f:\) connected through a usb port 3.1 which I would like to use as a drive. I have already checked the vmx file and I haven't been to find anything regarding physical disk.

I believe that you need to launch Workstation "As Admin" to enable the physical disk selection.

Thanks for the answer. I just ran it as admin, but it is still grayed out. Hmmmm

Looks like the machine was encrypted, unenscrypting it solved my problem.
