view composer disk profile migration

Hi Everybody,

i have to plan migration of vdi linked clones vm from W7 to W10. Profiles are stored in View Composer Persistent Disks.

I must migrate data to new os leaving the old one in parallel for some months.

Best solution i've found is using Ms's USMT.

Does anyone have a better idea?

Our internal team that manages the guest OS/profiles has been looking at USMT and I'm hearing good things. You could also look at Liquidware ProfileUnity.

i will refine USMT procedure.

The customer has no budget available to buy third-party solutions.
