Hi all,

we have installed horizon 7 at two sites with linked clones. Windows 7 32bit is installed. At one site several users have a Problem with the mouse Cursor. sometimes the mouse cursor stays the loading circle, or the mouse with loading circle or any other mouse Cursor. Only a reboot of the VM helps. The users connect with a Zero Client from dell wyse Modell p20 using PCoIP. Firmware is 5.3.0, horizon is on Version 7.0.2

At the other site everything works fine. where should I start with searching for the error?

The user reported that he doesn't see the hourglass next to the mouse Cursor when SAP is loading for example. But when I look on the virtual Desktop with damewar I can see the hourglass. How can I solve this?

I am having a similar issue. Ever since loading the 7.0.2 agent I have several machines that the mouse turns to an hour glass. The system performance doesn't seems to be an issue. It is just annoying for the user.

I have users that are still using the 6.1.1agent and they aren't having issues. I have an open case with VMware. I would ask that you also open a case with them if you haven't already. I believe this is an issue with the 7.0.2 agent.

If I find any answers I will send you an update.

I opened a case at VMware and also teradici. VMware sent me a guide for optimizing the PCoIP protocoll over WAN and also asked me if the problem exist when using RDP. But that I can't answer because my users only connect with the P25 and are using PCoIP. And what does it help when there is no Problem with RDP? I Need a solution for PCoIP.

VMware told me the issue will be fixed in Version 7.1.1, but it doesn't look like the Problem is fixed. Today I also noticed that the issue happened with the horizon Client and not only with the P25 Dell Wyse Zero Clients. We use PCoIP.

I opned a call today at VMware and sent the logs to Analyse. Let's wait...

I commonly see this issue when there is an issue with the display driver either on the host device or the VDI desktop. I have especially seen this when there is another application that uses a mirror driver under the display adapters. Check device manager and make sure there are no mirror drivers or anything else under display adapters other than what should be there. If anything else is there remove it and see if the issue goes away. Mirror drivers are not compatible with VDI desktops and will definitely cause issues. I have seen many weird issues with the dameware mirror driver and shoretell mirror driver.
