topic VMware View sizing in Horizon Desktops and Apps

Hello,

I know there is a VDI calculator out there, but was wondering if there was a fairly easy way to size a VDI environment? Our current Lab image is 50GB (OS + Apps). We are trying to clean up / eliminate older versions of software that are currently installed. Ideally we are going to role out a VDI solution to one of our nine Labs that contains 70 workstation to see how things works before deciding one the reamaining eight.

Linked clones seem to make the most sense, so this leads me back to my question. If we consider 70 WS using a 'GOLD' image that could be around 40GB what would the storage footprint look like.

Thank you

BC
