    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes you can install View Composer and specify an exisiting database to utilize.&amp;nbsp; I did this when I moved from my X86 vCenter to X64.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I would do a backup just in case naything happens that could cause problems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes you can. All composer configuration is saved in Composer Database.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;During another installation, you can select a DSN configured which points to the same database. defenitely a database backup is recommended always.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But please make sure that your other databases are intact. (Like ADAM DB and VC database etc) and you should not change the VC configuration in between.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
