Hello,

I need any Linux that support BlueZ. I want to run that linux on my M1 Mac. So far, I've tried Debian 10.x Ubuntu 64-Bit Arm 22.04.3 and now Ubuntu 64 Bit-Bit Arm Server 22.04.3

What do I have to do, to have a Linux running in WMWare on my Mac and being able to transfer some text snippets between host and guest using copy and past? (installing open-vm-tools is possible, but copy 'n past isn't work after that, installing VMWare tools from the Fusion tells me all the time, that this is not supported by VMWare).

best regards

Torsten

You said you installed open-vm-tools. Did you also install open-vm-tools-desktop? The latter provides copy/paste functionality.

Hi,

I've installed open-vm-tools on all 3 linux. Now I tried to install open-vm-tools-desktop and after rebooting the guest, it works! Thank you very much!
