The GNS3 VMs are built for Intel compatible PCs. They will not run on on an M1/M2 Macs - these Macs have CPUs that are not Intel compatible and Fusion does not emulate an Intel cpu (and neither does Parallels).

I would expect the error message you are seeing if you try to power on those VMs on a M1/M2 Mac.

Bottom line is a M1/M2 Mac is not the right machine if you want to run GNS3 in a VM. You need a PC or Intel Mac.

As far as I know, Vmware fusion13 supports the Silicon Mac version.
Complete all installations (enter and run private licenses) and upload VM files and complete normally. (Finish, The configuration of the virtual machine is now complete.)
Then when I tried to run the virtual machine, an error window occurred.

"This virtual machine cannot be powered on because it requires the X86 machine architecture, which is incompatible with this Arm machine architecture host."

The version I installed is 13.0.2 package.
What am I missing?

Exactly what the error message indicates.. You are trying to run an OS in a virtual machine which is written for an Intel x86 compatible CPU. Your Apple-silicon based CPU is an ARM architecture chip. You can only run virtual machines containing an OS written for ARM CPUs.

You'll have to build a new VM from scratch. Follow the instructions in the Unofficial guide (posted in the documents section of this forum). Do not use Youtube videos, google searches, or the outdated release notes.

Trying to run an x86 VM on an ARM machine is like putting gasoline in a diesel engine. It just won't work.

I've heard of this kind of thing happening when you try to drag and drop a Windows 11 x64 ISO on the "create a new virtual machine" dialog on Fusion on M1/M2 Macs.

The VM will look like it's created properly, but the VM OS type will be set to Windows 11 x64. That OS type will be recognized by Fusion 13 on Apple Silicon as an x86 VM and will generate that message if you try to power it on.
