    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when creating a VM by using Fusion and choosing the location for the VM on an external drive, I get this error message (see attachment). That, even if I can create a new folder there.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did format the external drive in several formats. Result is the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- ExtFat&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- APFS (several types)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Arne&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, even if I could create a subfolder from out of the "choose location" window, it failed. So I checked the permissions. The software hat permission for the Documents folder. So I tried to grant full disk access to it and... surprise... it worked. I could proceed further... At the end it crashed caused by other reasons. But his is not part of this thread.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
