Cannot create MacOS Big Sur guest on iMac 2020 MacOS Big Sur host

For a month after Big Sur is released, I cannot create any MacOS Big Sur guest on iMac 2020 MacOS Big Sur (11.1) host. When selecting macOS recovery partition on the machine, it keeps "Preparing" as shown on screenshot.

Hi, have anyone report this issue with VMware yet?

As you would expect, it has come up on this forum before, yes.

Alternatively you can download the full installer from apple and use that.
