Hi,

Very new to thinapp, so new that I haven't started reading the documentation yet, but just have a quick question

I have this program that gets installed locally to the user's c: drive...and after you install it, you go under program files and edit a .dat file and change the path to the MS Access database file , which is actually kept on a network share (ex. DBPATH-R:\Data\database.mdb). As long as the user has that drive mapped, the program works fine.

I have like 3 users who use this, so I don't really want to create a separate parentVM for them, so I was wondering if something like this could be thinapped. When they login to their virtual desktops, our login scripts map the drive that they need, but I don't know (yet) if thinapp works that way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

ThinApp register all application file.

Before build the package you can add other files. In your case you can add the dat file.

It will work? Probably yes.

Andre
