It seems I always have issues with updating Broadcom net extreme II drivers, specifically the 2 CNIC modules.

Currently trying to put on the NetExtreme II-11.0 version on an 5.1U2 box. I keep getting conflict errors that "cnic" is in conflict with VMware_bootbank_scsi-bnx2i_1.9.1d.v50.1-5vmw.510.0.0.799733.

I have emulex 10g cards in my hosts, so I am not even using these 10gb Broadcomm drivers but I update them, because they all come as a set. The only Broadcom Nic I use is the 1gbit bnx2. So I am confused whether I should remove this bnx2i boot bank vib that is a conflict, or try to troubleshoot more. I hate to tank my bnx2 which is my mgt nic.

Anyone else ever have issues with these CNIC drivers required from Broadcom? The VUM log doesnt really give anymore information.
