Move Content Library to New Datastore

We are in the process of swapping out some backend fiber attached storage and are looking for any update to the year(s) old discussion about how to move/migrate our Content Library. It's Local and published to 3-4 remote sites and about 700Gb in size. Our VCSA is running 7.0.3.

Is the recommendation still to "leverage Content Library Publish/Subscribe feature. Setup a second CL on the desired datastore and then setup replication between the old and new CL. Once all the content has been sync'ed you can then delete the old CL"

I was hoping there would be a "new" way to just redirect the content to a new datastore without creating additional Content Library.
