      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello there,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Really new at setting up vCenter here so here's the scenario:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Requirement is to deploy vCenter on an ESXI host [6.7]&lt;BR /&gt;- Downloaded VMware vCenter Server Appliance [2020-10-22 | 7.0U1a]&lt;BR /&gt;- From a VM (ubuntu) on ESXI, mounted the iso file&lt;BR /&gt;- From vcsa-cli-installer/lin64, copied and modified one of the templates [embedded_vCSA_on_ESXi.json]&lt;BR /&gt;- ran this command :&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;vcsa-deploy install --accept-eula --acknowledge-ceip /path/to/modified/json/file&lt;BR /&gt;- and got the error in the image attached&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;what am i missing?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;NOTE: made sure NTP server is modified to the same NTP server of ESXI&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For me, I forgot to replace the default text in the JSON file for the SSO user with a real password. Once I replaced it with my password and re-ran the installation it worked. Hope it helps someone else.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
