Error on Importing VM in Converter (Unable to determine OS)

Hi All,

I "googled" extensively this error but nothing seemed to be similar to my case so I decided to post here.

I have a WORKING Server 2008 R2 64bit VM - it works fine in Fusion and in VMWare Workstation.

I want to Import it into an ESXi host with Converter but I get "Unable To Determine OS" error.

The log entry is not very helpful: "image processing task has failed methodfault exception sysimage fault unabletodetermineguestos"

What may be going on? Any suggestions?

I would really appreciate ANY help

check to if this guest os is supported by version of converter that you using

For Windows 2008 R2 you need VMware Converter 4.3. Did you use this version?
