      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to use consolidator, or converter enterprise to P2V several 64Bit Windows 2003 Servers.  But I keep getting the following error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;ERROR: Unable to open file %s&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm running VC 2.3 U2, and Converter Enterprise 3.0.3 Build 89816&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have attached the converter log.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have any ideal what may be causing my issue? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-geob &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;geob,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;top line of that file states something else for the version of converter in use:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Log for VMware Converter Agent, pid=1892, version=3.0.2u1, build=build-62456, option=Release, section=2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Failed to open file %s is about attempting to open the VMDK file to copy data into.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;VMFolder = clone-essapd020-w085/clone-essapd020-w085.vmdk&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ESX Server: essvmp020-006.emrcorp.local:902&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wherever converter is running from can't do one of the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*Resolve the ESX host name (essvmp020-006.emrcorp.local)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*There is a NAT between the ESX host and the source system&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*There is a port blockage on TCP 902&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Those are the most common problems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;EvilOne&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 - Check the documents&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 - Search the forums&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3 - Post Question &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And remember to award points to those who assist you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
