Failed to upgrade vCenter 6.7 to 7.0 Update3L

Hi all,

During upgrade vCenter 6.7 to 7.0, I've got this error message of this 'Internal error occurs during pre-upgrade checks' after stage 1 and stage 1 execute smoothly. So, which configuration does it leads to this error and how to solve it and also which log file do i have to review or look into.

Although the reason for this may be different, you may want to take a look at https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/78296 for troubleshooting the issue.

Have you tried updating through VAMI interface?

Please also check the following log file for any error message:

/var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/updatemgr-vmon-prestart.log

The logs you have to check via CLI, just login through ssh and see if any specific error is there is the log file.
